Memorials in our Chapel garden are an excellent way to honor the people and animals that have made a difference in your life. Your heart can rest easily knowing that you are giving twice – honoring your loved one while also providing for the homeless animals in our care. Your tribute can remember a beloved family member, loyal pet companion, celebrate an anniversary, the birth of a child, or any other special occasion.
Once your tribute is received the Brevard Humane Society will send you a tax-deductible receipt as well as notify the person you are honoring. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned.
Garden Naming
Our Chapel Garden is a place of reflection and repose, a living legacy for generations to come. Consider honoring your loved one by naming a garden area, plant collection, or program.
Garden Seating
Garden benches are ideal locations for personal reflection and meditation or simply relaxing during a stroll. Exact locations for benches are determined by the Heavenly Paws Chapel, but specific areas may be requested.
Garden Planting
Planting a tree or shrub adds enjoyment and life to the Garden for years to come. Chapel staff can assist with the types of trees/shrubs that would be appropriate for specific areas and can provide information regarding a tree and its future location.
Losing a loved one is one of life’s most difficult trials. To honor the memory of those we have lost with a plaque or naming is a wonderful gift for those who want to be comforted by loving memories each day.

Cornerstone
The engraving of a cornerstone is the largest single pledge and gift one can bestow. Fashioned to our Chapel, the cornerstone will serve as a testament of their love and support of animals and the Brevard Humane Society.

To be remembered within the Heavenly Paws Chapel is a special tribute; and dedicating our pew seat with your name, or that of a loved one, is a beautiful testament to a love that endures.
Memorial Wall Plaque
Purchasing a memorial plaque for display in our sanctuary is a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one or celebrate a milestone.
Celebrate the special pets or animal-loving people in your life with a permanent legacy in front of the Brevard Humane Society’s Heavenly Paws Chapel. By purchasing an engraved brick with a pet’s or honoree’s name, you ensure their memory will forever be written on our walks and forever in your heart. Commemorative bricks are available for purchase throughout the year, however installation will take place annually in the Fall.
