Brevard Humane Society’s Cocoa Campus has been at it’s current location since 1962. At that time, the goal was to “warehouse” as many homeless pets as possible. Times have changed and that is no longer what our mission is.
Today, and for almost the last two decades, Brevard Humane Society has switched it’s focus to giving homeless pets a safe, secure, and caring environment while they are waiting to find fur-ever homes.
Unfortunately, the facility’s 60-year old design is now very outdated with bad wiring, poorly designed accommodations and a failing plumbing system. The pets in Brevard Humane Society’s care deserve proper living space. The cost of the renovations is expected to reach approximately three million dollars ($3,000,000) and due to the cost, we need your help more than ever.
