As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Brevard Humane Society depends on generous, tax-deductible donations from the community. We operate without any tax dollars, and we need your help to continue to care for the unwanted and abandoned pets that visit the shelter each year.

General Donations help the Brevard Humane Society care for homeless pets until safe and healthy homes can be found for them. We depend on the generosity of people like you to allow us to continue helping animals and champion the No-Kill movement.

Workplace giving is a simple and convenient way to give a little at a time while contributing in a big way. If you are not currently enrolled in your company’s workplace giving program, or if you are trying to decide which nonprofit to designate as your beneficiary, the Brevard Humane Society is an excellent choice for anyone who supports our mission and vision.
How does workplace giving work?
Workplace giving programs allow employees to make regular donations to eligible charities through their companies’ payroll system. Employees may contribute a set amount per paycheck, or make a one-time gift. You determine the charities you wish to support and pledge a tax-deductible amount. Your pledged donation amount is then automatically deducted from payroll, offering a convenient means of giving—and the potential to make an even greater impact by year-round sustained giving, without losing the tax benefits of charitable giving.
Ask your company today if they provide workplace giving campaigns or matching corporate donations.
If your employer participates in a United Way Campaign, you can also support us through that effort. While animal welfare organizations are not typically permitted, many local United Ways will allow you to write in a charity of your choice (please use our full, official name: Central Brevard Humane Society)
