FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Brevard Humane Society is pleased to announce that their Low-Cost Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic will extend its hours of operation until 7pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning April 23rd. The new hours are in response to an increased demand for veterinary services and in order to better accommodate pet owners’ busy weekday schedules, which can often make scheduling appointments more difficult.

“Pet owners routinely tell us that the biggest challenge to keeping their pets healthy is simply scheduling a routine veterinary appointment for a wellness check-up or vaccinations,” said Tara Kerby, Clinic Manager for the Brevard Humane Society’s Low-Cost Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic. “The decision to offer extended hours was quite simply an easy one to make. The Brevard Humane Society is committed to keeping pets healthy and active throughout their lives. Unfortunately, medical issues can cause some animals to be surrendered, so by offering extended weekday hours, we’re making it possible for busy pet owners to schedule convenient check-up appointments and ensure their pets are healthy and protected against common illnesses.”

In addition to offering the expanded weekday hours for routine pet care, the veterinary clinic is reminding pet owners that they are also available for spay and neuter services Mondays and Thursdays from 8am to 5pm. The Brevard Humane Society’s Low-Cost Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic serves all of Brevard and their services are not dependent on one’s income level.
