The Brevard Humane Society invites pet lovers everywhere to take part in one of our most cherished annual traditions—the 2027 Best Pets of Brevard Calendar Contest. This community‑wide fundraiser celebrates the pets who bring joy to our lives while directly supporting the lifesaving work of Brevard Humane Society and the homeless animals who depend on our care.
Each photo entry helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances for animals in need. When you enter your pet, you are doing more than celebrating them—you are helping another animal find safety and a loving home.

How to Participate in the 2027 Calendar Contest

Submit your pet’s photo securely online for a chance to be featured in the 2027 Best Pets of Brevard Calendar.
Option 2: Mail‑In Entry
Participants may also submit entries by mail. Download and complete the official entry form and send it with photos and payment to:

Contest Details & Guidelines
- Entry Deadline: June 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM (ET)
- Entry Fees:
- $10 per photo – Contest Entry
- $50 per photo – “In Memory Of” Tribute Entry
- Photo Guidelines:
- Horizontal (landscape) orientation preferred
- High‑resolution, clear images
- Minimal background clutter
- Original photos or used with permission
While every effort will be made to accommodate submissions, photos that do not meet these guidelines may not be selected for high-impact calendar placement.
Honoring Beloved Pets Through “In Memory Of” Entries
“In Memory Of” entries offer a heartfelt way to honor a pet who has passed while helping animals still waiting for their second chance. Hard‑copy photos submitted for memorial entries will be returned, and all proceeds benefit Brevard Humane Society’s lifesaving programs.
Business Sponsorship Opportunities
Local businesses are invited to support homeless animals while gaining community visibility through calendar sponsorships. Sponsorships help offset production costs and range from business card ads to full‑page color features. Placements are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
