The Brevard Humane Society also offers customized presentations upon request. These tailored programs address a variety of topics affecting our community from pet overpopulation to pet friendly housing, animal cruelty, and more.

Precious Paws Storytime
This program is beneficial for both the children, by fostering confidence and reading skills, and the animals, by providing a soothing and rhythmic sound of a human voice which comforts them.

Service Projects
- Direct Service: Create pet toys or treats and deliver directly to our Adoption Center.
- Indirect Service: Organize a collection drive to donate food and necessary supplies for our homeless animals.
- Advocacy: Hold a community event and educate the public on the importance of spay/neutering, microchipping pets,etc.
- Research: Investigate a local animal related issue and share the findings with your school.
Scout / Group Tours
Are you looking to learn more about the importance of adoption and the vital role shelters play in our communities? Then sign up for tour of the Brevard Humane Society! A visit to our facility is an educational and fun experience for your scouts or other youth group. Tours are approximately 30 minutes, are appropriate for up to 25 participants (including adults), and includes meeting a few of our animals. Cost is only $7 per participant, and fun patches are included! To schedule a tour, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator. Please note that our tour schedules do fill up quickly, so please schedule at least 2 weeks in advance.
