BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast resident, local small business owner, and recently crowned Ms. Florida Petite, Beth York is preparing to represent the State of Florida and Brevard County on the national stage when she takes the stage at the Ms. Petite USA Pageant in Milwaukee August 10-13.

In lead up to the big event, Beth is inviting the community to partake in a free and open to the public Network Appreciation Party event at Zarrella’s Wood Fired Pizza in Cape Canaveral on August 7 from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

The event will feature food, drinks, modeling classes, numerous vendors and raffles, which will go to benefit charity. The proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Brevard Humane Society.

It will also be a chance to meet Beth before she heads up north August 10-13 to compete in the Ms. Petite USA Pageant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I’m so ready. I’ve spent a lot of time getting all my outfits ready and all of the preparations. With lots of practice and networking, I’m now in the final stretch and it’s just all excitement from here. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said York.

BETH YORK

Born in upstate New York, Beth takes great pride in the life lessons that her childhood prepared her for the as she gets ready to compete for Ms. Petite USA.

Growing up in the mountains of upstate New York taught her how to be the woman she is today.

It’s those lessons she learned that led her to move to Brevard County in 2011. It was a chance for her to expand her horizons and take on a host of new challenges. While it hasn’t always been easy for her, she says her strength and resolve to be more has made her who she is today.

“I’m from the land of the snow, in upstate New York. This life is totally different than surviving up in the mountains,” said York. “It’s kind of tooth and nail in upstate New York. Compared to Florida, this is a life of tropical luxury for me, and I love it here.”

For this gorgeous beauty queen, pageantry life is fairly new to her and she will admit she is no seasoned veteran. In fact, Ms. Florida Petite 2022 was the first ever pageant she competed in.
