All animals on Brevard Humane Society’s Adopt a Pet pages are available for adoption at the time of posting. They may already have a new home by the time you come to the shelter to adopt them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please remember we have many more pets that need caring and loving “furever” homes!
Animals in our care are vaccinated and dewormed upon intake. Adult dogs are given heartworm tests and are spayed/neutered. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
If you see an animal you want to adopt, there are several ways you can submit your information:
- Complete and print Brevard Humane Society’s Adoption Application below and bring with you to our Adoption Centers. Make sure you save the form to your computer to retain the information.
- After saving onto your own computer, you can also submit by email using the Submit to BHS button on the form.
- Or you can apply directly online in the form below (make sure to submit):
At the time of adoptions, an additional $10.00 per cat/dog is collected for tag license fees required by the Brevard County Animal Control Services, plus a $2.00 handling fee. A $15.00 fee is also collected, if we have administered a rabies vaccine to the animal.
