BREVARD HUMANE SOCIETY’S “12 STRAYS OF CHRISTMAS” HOPES TO BRING HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS

With the holiday season in full swing, the Brevard Humane Society would like to encourage the gift of a forever home with their “12 Strays of Christmas” awareness campaign. For the second year, and for the next dozen days leading up to the 25th, the Brevard Humane Society’s “12 Strays of Christmas” initiative aims to find homes for the adoptable animals who have been in their care the longest.

The Brevard Humane Society will spotlight each of its 12 animals, 6 dogs and 6 cats, in the most need of homes this holiday on Facebook (www.facebook.com/BrevardHumaneSociety). Each pet showcased in the “12 Strays of Christmas” will have a special reduced adoption fee which covers their wellness exam, spaying/neutering, and age appropriate vaccines.

“More families bring a new pet home for the holiday season than at any other time of the year, yet, sadly, some of these animals spent last Christmas here. We would love nothing more than to see them spend this holiday season in a loving home with a new family” said Theresa Clifton, Executive Director of the Brevard Humane Society. “We also hope this campaign encourages people to adopt and look at all of the other animals we have in our care still waiting for their second chance.”
