FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PALM BAY’S FARMERS’ MARKET IS THE BREVARD HUMANE SOCIETY’S LATEST “PET” PROJECT

The Palm Bay Farmers’ Market is set to kick-off its 2019 season on Sunday, September 1st. The market, which takes place on the green next to Molly Mutt Thrift Store in Palm Bay, will operate weekly (every Sunday) from 10 am to 3pm. The market is a rain or shine event that will operate from September through April.

“Farmers’ markets have become an integral part of our community and they continue to rise in popularity due to consumers’ growing interest in obtaining fresh products,” said Debora Speer, Event Coordinator for the Brevard Humane Society. “The Palm Bay Farmers’ Market will enable consumers to have access to locally grown, farm fresh produce, organic honeys, healthy preserves, spices, homemade baked goods and more.”

In addition to a variety of vendors, the Palm Bay Farmers’ Market will also provide free pet food to those in need the first Sunday of each month. Distribution will continue while supplies last.

As part of the opening-day celebration, the first 50 guests to arrive at the market will also receive a 50% off voucher to utilize at the Molly Mutt Thrift Store in Palm Bay. Parking for the event is free and located at 2890 Palm Bay Road NE #4218. If you should miss the Palm Bay Farmers’ Market this Labor Day Weekend, please stop and visit your favorite vendors next Sunday. New vendors are always welcome to participate, please contact the Brevard Humane Society at 321.636.3343 ext. 218 or email events@brevardhumanesociety.org for further details and information.
