THE BREVARD HUMANE SOCIETY ENCOURAGES THE COMMUNITY TO GATHER THEIR AMIGOS FOR “CINCO DE CRITTERS”

Hold on to your sombreros it’s going to be a “paw-tay”! El Charro Fine Mexican Food, located at 916 Florida Avenue in Cocoa will be hosting the 8th Annual “Cinco de Critters”, to benefit the homeless animals of the Brevard Humane Society on Wednesday, May 8th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Unfortunately, no pets will be allowed during the festivities.

“Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community, to help animals and to provide resources for those who have animals in their lives,” said Theresa Clifton, Executive Director of the Brevard Humane Society. “We know that the past 67 years would not have been possible without so many compassionate generations of partners, advocates, adopters and animal lovers, and we hope they will join us in celebrating, as we celebrate them!

Event activities will include a “Barkarita” Yappy Hour, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a silent auction. The Humane Society will receive 15 percent of the food proceeds from the evening to help care for the homeless animals at their (2) Adoption Centers in Cocoa and Merritt Island. To make a reservation that will have a “grande” effect on the community, please contact El Charro at (321) 639-1004.
