According to the nonprofit group Constructional Approach to Animal Welfare and Training, members Alex and Kelli Jacobson found Bobo and took him in. Due to a change in their living situation in December, the Jacobsons said they could no longer foster Bobo, and because they were worried he would end up in a kill shelter due to overcrowding in the L.A. area, they reached out to Sean Will and his wife Maasa, who run Constructional Approach To Animal Welfare and Training in Palm Bay.
“They reached out to shelters and rescues in the area and no one had space, and it was looking it would not be a good outcome for Bobo,” Sean said
He and his wife, in turn, reached out to the Brevard Humane Society to see if they had a place for Bobo.
“The wonderful people at Brevard Humane Society said, ‘Yes!'” an Instagram post from Bobo’s adoption page said.
Over the holidays, Alex Jacobson spent four days driving Bobo from California to Florida, where he is now ready for adoption at the Brevard Humane Society.
Anyone interested in adopting Bobo can contact the Brevard Humane Society at 321-636-3343.
