COCOA (Oct. 19, 2023) — The Brevard Humane Soci-ety will host its 26th annual “Critter Run” from 10 a.m. to4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. The motorcycle poker runbegins at the Cocoa Adoption Center, 1020 Cox Road.The Critter Run begins with first bike out at 10 a.m.and the last bike out at 11:30 a.m. Each hand is $10.Riders will receive an extra playing card if they donate anitem from the shelter wish list. Cash Prizes will beawarded for the Best, Worst, and Mystery Hands.The final stop is at H&D Roadhouse, 1811 E. MerrittIsland Causeway.The last bike in is 3:30 p.m. There will be a live band,50–50 drawing, food, vendors, and door prizes, withproceeds benefiting the rescued pets of the BrevardHumane Society.The Brevard Humane Society is grateful for H&DRoadhouse sponsoring the 26th annual Critter Run again.It has always been a fun event for the bikers and is a hugehelp toward caring for the homeless animals.Founded in 1952, The Brevard Humane Society is thecounty’s oldest established animal welfare organization.
