BREVARD HUMANE SOCIETY & SUBARU OF MELBOURNE “SHARE THE LOVE” OF PETS
Subaru of Melbourne has once again selected the Brevard Humane Society as their beneficiary of choice for its annual Subaru “Share the Love” Event. Over the past few years, Subaru of Melbourne has donated more than $29,000 to Brevard Humane Society through its “Share the Love” campaign. For every new Subaru vehicle purchased through Jan. 2, the dealership will donate $250 to Brevard Humane Society, which has operated a safe haven for homeless and lost animals since 1952.
“We are so thrilled Subaru of Melbourne has selected us as their hometown charity. We are extremely grateful for the generous support we have received from them over the years and their sustained commitment to pets in our community. Our partnership has helped provide homes for hundreds of local animals in need,” said Theresa Clifton, Executive Director of the Brevard Humane Society.
In conjunction with Subaru’s “Share the Love” event the Brevard Humane Society is also holding its ‘Stuff a Subaru’ donation drive now through December 16th. Shoppers are encouraged to bring much needed items from the Humane Society’s wish list (paper towels, bleach, hand sanitizer, kitty litter and pet toys) for a chance to win a Grimaldi Chocolate Gift Basket valued at $100. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, December 16 at 2 PM.
The Brevard Humane Society invites the community to help share the love at Subaru of Melbourne this Saturday, December 16th at 430 W. New Haven in Melbourne from 11am to 3pm and visit with a variety of cats and dogs looking for their forever homes. Also in attendance, Santa will be available for photos with your pet. Bring the whole family after shopping as there will be a gift wrapping station, food & drink specials, and music by Nowhere to Rum Band!
