Thank You to our Volunteers

Cocoa, FL – As National Volunteer Week approaches, the Brevard Humane Society extends a heartfelt thank you to its invaluable volunteers whose dedication and selflessness have significantly contributed to the organization’s ability to serve the community and fulfill its mission.

In 2023, these committed individuals collectively devoted over 36,000 hours to supporting various initiatives of the Brevard Humane Society, including shelter operations, thrift stores, offsite events, and fostering endeavors.

Michelle V., the Community Outreach Specialist at Brevard Humane Society, emphasized the profound impact of the volunteers, stating, “We truly appreciate every single person that volunteers their time with us because we could not be as successful without all of their support.”

To honor and celebrate the exceptional efforts of its volunteers, the Brevard Humane Society will host two Volunteer Appreciation gatherings. The events are scheduled for Thursday, April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday, April 26, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Both gatherings will take place at the Cocoa Adoption Center, situated at 1020 Cox Road.
